She has been recently conferred with a doctorate by Leeds Metropolitan University for her outstanding contribution to cultural diversity.
This esteemed honour was previously conferred on Mr.Amitabh Bachchan, Mr.Yash Chopra and Ms Shabhana Azmi.... stalwarts of Indian cinema.......
Why in God's name has Shilpa Shetty got this award I dont know and fail to comprehend....
Maybe Leed's University was trying to garner popularity with Shilpa's help? :D
ANyway... congratulation to this beautiful babe....... I wish her more success in her proffesion and life...
